The OTHM Level 3 Award in Assessing Vocationally Related Achievement is closely aligned with the Assessment and Quality Assurance framework originally developed for the education and training sector. There are no formal entry requirements for this qualification. Learners should be working in, or preparing for, a setting where they can develop and demonstrate vocational assessment practice.

Assessments

The qualification is internally assessed by the centre and externally verified by OTHM. Learners must achieve all learning outcomes and assessment criteria for each unit to achieve a pass.

  • Portfolio of evidence for the qualification overall

  • Reflective account of work, observation of performance, work products, and witness testimony or written feedback for practical assessment evidence

  • Pass or Fail grading based on achievement of all specified learning outcomes and assessment criteria
