Course requirements

The qualification is designed for learners aged 19 and above. Entry should include core literacy, language, numeracy, and ICT skills, plus an appropriate prior qualification or relevant experience.

  • Minimum core of literacy, language, numeracy and ICT, with a minimum of a Level 3 qualification in the learner’s own area of specialism

  • Mature learners over 21 with relevant management experience may also be accepted, and non-majority English-speaking learners must provide evidence of English language competency

Assessments

All units are assessed by coursework, internally quality assured by the centre, and externally verified by OTHM. Learners must achieve all learning outcomes and assessment criteria for a pass.

Progression
