Who should attend

This course is suitable for learners who want to develop management knowledge and practical capability in health and social care, whether for career development, supervisory responsibility, or progression to higher-level study.

Course requirements

The qualification is intended for learners aged 18 and above. OTHM states that entrants will normally meet at least one recognised academic or experiential entry profile and, where applicable, must provide evidence of English language competency.

  • Relevant Level 3 Diploma qualification, GCE Advanced Level in 2 subjects, or equivalent qualification, or mature learner status with relevant management experience

  • If not from a majority English-speaking country, learners must provide evidence of English language competency

Assessments

All units in this qualification are assessed by the centre and internally quality assured, with external verification by OTHM. Learners must achieve all learning outcomes and assessment criteria to gain a pass, and the overall assessment method is coursework.
